The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is responsible for law enforcement across Blaine County, providing patrol, investigative, and specialized response services to the community.
Subdivisions
The Sheriff’s Office provides several options to expand learning and development within the agency. The subdivisions are as follows:
- Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) – Leads all criminal cases within the Blaine County area that is outside of the scope of patrol officers.
- Aviation Unit – Handles all air operations for assisting in pursuits, missing persons, person/vehicle/property tracking.
- Canine Unit – Aid the patrol division with a tactical approach to better gain compliance with assailants and search and rescue operations.
- Pursuit Tactical Unit – A team of personnel that are specifically trained to aid in pursuits, pursuit tactics, and high-speed maneuvers.
